you deserve to be wildly successful. you deserve to love your work, and still have space for the many things you are outside of work.

my (mostly) healthy obsessions:
But I’m a Midwestern millennial. I grew up believing success lay in a traditional career. So, I got a Master’s in Journalism, leveraged that into a job in corporate marketing and began my climb.
I spent 15 years building strategies, content, and programs. I wrote copy, organized events, managed creative, styled photos, ran social. I achieved.
Then we lost our second-born son in 2018.
On the other side of that grief, I realized my path had become... well, meh. I was putting all my energy into a machine instead of myself. And I owed it to him not to settle.
So, I started a new journey - one that was about me following my passions and taking the road, not the other way around.

From my cringe high school journal entries to choreographing dance routines to the novel I finally got around to writing.
I’ve always been a storyteller.
because what we do for money is rarely as important as what we do for fun and love and all the rest.
